Military Medical Board Information
When the first rating is received from the medical evaluation board and physical evaluation board, it should always be appealed. There are several non profit organizations that will represent veterans for free. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) has an office in building 11, on the bottom floor, at walter reed army medical center. The Disabled American Veterans main job is to help soldiers appeal the medical evaluation board and physical evaluation board. A personal lawyer or legal represenative maybe be used at your own expense. If your currently attached or assigned to walter reed army medical center and havn't made contact with the disabled american veterans, we highly recommend that you do so.
